The Bachelor of Arts in Accounting program is designed to give students the fundamental concepts and practices of Accountancy. The program is organized in 120 credit hours course work which includes several practices and senior year internship. They will also get the impression of the vast areas of financial study areas and topics. In the undergraduate curriculum, they will take courses in Managerial Accounting, Business Informatics, Economics, Cost Management, Marketing, Strategic Management, and Supply Chain Management.
A undergraduate study in accounting prepares students to practice as public, private, or governmental accountants, or work in business managerial positions that require an understanding of fundamental accounting concepts and principles. For MA candidates
If you are a Bachelor degree in Accounting, or in any of the disciplines in business, economics or management, you are warmly welcome. this is because accounting is a discipline which is known to its interdisciplinary nature. Particularly, if you come from a business background, congratulations! you already have the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for your further study. However, if you come from other area, you are still welcome, but you probably need to take few bridging courses.
For BA candidates
If you would like to join our Bachelor of Arts Degree program in the Department of Accounting, you should have a diploma, another Bachelor degree or you should have a high school completion certificate with a passing marks or cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
